A small social enterprise wants to kick off their debut product.

A small social enterprise publishing house is launching, and they want their mission to be at the core of their product development. After a series of intense conversations, I led a vision session to determine the goals of the organization, create a mission statement to communicate this goal, and lay out how the financial model supports the social goal.

When the organization decided they wanted to crowdfund their initial project I helped them figure out what were reasonable financial targets and evaluated comparable offerings already in the market. We parsed out what made for successful campaigns, how much per page you could reasonably charge, what types of add-ons were commonly purchased and how to structure benchmarks.

They were able to have a price breakdown of each step from backers giving their support to the moment the books will land on doorsteps. We then mapped out the steps from product design to web presence development, to fulfillment planning and then campaign launch.
